Astronaut To Help Space Heroes Save the World In Sci-Fi Thriller

Washington, DC, December 7th, 2023 – Centerboro Productions a leading entertainment media company and producer of high-quality feature films and episodic television, and All in Films, a full-service film and entertainment studio based in Los Angeles, announced today during the HTS Roundtable satellite industry Washington DC event an agreement with SpaceKids Global to be a partner in a cross-promotional agreement to feature SpaceKid’s CEO and astronaut, Sharon Hagle , playing a cameo role in an upcoming sci-fi space action Hollywood film, HELIOS . Ms. Hagle will portray an astronaut enabling the main heroine-scientist to activate a special satellite constellation to help save the Earth.
Helios is directed by filmmaker and writer Michelle Danner who has set the sci-fi action thriller HELIOS as her next big feature after recently directing a starry ensemble led by Abigail Breslin in the drama MIRANDA'S VICTIM .

SpaceKids Global was established in Orlando, Florida, and is led by astronaut, Sharon Hagle, Founder & CEO. SpaceKids is a pioneering company that inspires elementary students on the benefits of STEAM education, having reached over 615,000 students globally. “Having a role in the film HELIOS, SpaceKids Global can promote how important adding Art to STEM education is, to expressing creativity. Through our partnership, we can expand our mission of bringing the possibility of space to kids everywhere,” said Hagle. “We will also be organizing and promoting a promotion to award tickets to the HELIOS premier to a few lucky school students.”
“The scientist-heroine and crew in our HELIOS Hollywood film will launch to orbit in a latest-generation rocket and spaceplane at a moment of great urgency in our story," said executive producer, Robert Feierbach. The technology displayed in our movie will be portrayed as realistic as possible, as our main protagonist flies to space to save our planet, thereby highlighting the benefits of space-tech to young people viewing our film worldwide.
Set in 2030, the film will tell the story of a spaceship, the HELIOS, and its crew during their urgent mission to the International Space Station (ISS). When a gigantic solar flare from an incoming cataclysmic solar storm hits the station, it is up to astronomer and former NASA Astronaut Jess Denver and Air Force Colonel Sam Adler to team up and save humanity.
HELIOS is written by Beninati, Michael K. Anderson (THE WONDER SHOW), and Bernard Moore and is a co-production of All In Films and Centerboro Productions, with president, producer & writer Patricia A. Beninati (HUBBLE: 20 YEARS OF DISCOVERY), Todd Slater of Convoke Media (KING OF KILLERS), Marilyn G. Haft (GRACE IS GONE), Michelle Danner, (MIRANDA’S VICTIM), Valerie Debler (THE RUNNER), Alexandra Guarnieri (MIRANDA’S VICTIM), with Brian Drillinger (EXTRAS INNINGS) and Robert Feierbach (EARTHFALL) both serving as executive producers, and casting director Nancy Bishop (MIRANDA’S VICTIM).
SpaceKids Global joins a growing list of prestigious space and companies that boarded the HELIOS film production to highlight their company’s space technologies, including United Launch Alliance (ULA) with the use of its Vulcan Rocket, Aerospacelabs, with its satellite constellation, and Blue Origin Orbital Reef space station, with more existing space industry companies in process of joining this electrifying Hollywood sci-fi feature film.
The producers are planning to disclose more details soon, including casting and are eyeing a 2024 shoot for HELIOS.
