Kennedy Space Center Tours SpaceKids Global recently hosted 250 students from five Title 1 Orange County elementary schools on an all expense paid field trip to Kennedy Space Center. The fourth graders got to explore the famous Rocket Garden, Moonscape, Journey to Mars and even see the Mars Rover Vehicle Navigator. Participating schools were Conway, Hungerford, Ivey Lane, Little River and Orange Center Elementary. We hope to expand the program in 2024 so more students have the opportunity to learn about their futures in space. Many thanks to our friends at Florida High Tech Corridor and the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation for making this day possible. Return mission to Browne Academy One of the first classrooms I visited when I launched SpaceKids Global seven years ago was to my grandson's first grade class at Browne Academy in Virginia. I recently did a return mission to the school prior to his eight grade graduation. Many of his first grade classmates are still at school with him, and getting prepared to start high school this coming fall.
